Who Are We?
The Ken Dodd Charitable Foundation was created in 2013 to support performing arts charities and organisations. Our Mission is to help children and young people to pursue their creative passions - whilst spreading laughter and happiness!
We continue Sir Ken’s legacy by funding projects in three tattyfilarious areas.
Health, Doddy knew laughter is the best medicine and that
“a chuckle a day keeps the doctor away!”
Happiness, Doddy’s key to a good life, and Performing Arts, the craft mastered by
the Squire of Knotty Ash, who was still performing live at 90.

Sir Ken’s widow, Anne, Lady Dodd is head of the charitable foundation.

Sir Ken’s nephew, John Lewis MBE, has taken Sir Ken’s place as Trustee in the charitable foundation.
